Peace For This Life:

Do you need peace? Is it a challenge to find peace or to stay at peace? Today many of us struggle with finding a sense of stillness and peace in our lives. Whether it’s caused by drama, a busy schedule, stress at work, or viewing daily news headlines, we can all find it challenging to find peace for ourselves. We often think of peace as an absence of anxiety or worry, a calmness, but this is not the TRUE essence of peace. Instead, peace...more specifically supernatural peace...stays with us even in the toughest of times. Have you ever experienced this?

As Christians we can be people marked by this supernatural peace, just like Jesus was. But how many of us can describe our lives as being saturated with peace? Often we search for peace in places that don’t truly give peace. Instead of trying to obtain a peace that doesn’t last, we can ask Jesus for a fresh outpouring of His supernatural peace in our lives.

If you find yourself struggling with developing or pursuing peace in your own life, I encourage you to turn to Jesus - and His word in the Bible - for guidance. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of 10 Bible Verses About Peace for this life: to aid you on this journey!
