What should I expect when I first show up? 

We meet every Sunday at 9:00 am  and 11:00 am at LICF campus which is located in St. Clair Township, MI. As you come inside the building, one of the first place you'll come to is the Welcome Center, where you will be greeted by friendly faces who can answer any questions you may have. The next thing you will see is the LICF coffee bar. Feel free to come early and get a free drink of coffee and a cookie or two. During the service, we sing a few songs, listen to a relevant message from the Bible, and close out the service with prayer. Overall, the service lasts about 75 minutes.

 

Where is guest parking? 

As you drive onto our campus, guest parking is immediately to your right (north, if you are a direction person).

What should I wear? 

Clothes. That’s our only request. We are much more concerned about what’s going on inside of a person than what they are wearing on the outside. Some of our folks dress up, some dress in business casual, many show up in jeans. So don't worry about it. Just come as you are.

What is the overall environment like at LICF?

We are definitely a friendly bunch.  We strive to make you feel welcome and help you connect with God.  We understand that going to any place new can be uncomfortable, which is why we try very hard to help you feel at home while you're with us.

What is the music like? 

We don’t own a pipe organ.  We're not that old school.  We're led each week by a team that consists of various instruments - keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, etc.  The  goal of our music is ultimately to be singing songs that enable us to say, "Thank You!" to our Lord and Savior Jesus.

 

What does it mean that LICF is a nondenominational church? 

While we are affiliated with Elim Fellowship in Lima, NY, we are not linked or connected with any denomination. Our only allegiance is to the Lord and His Word. We can fellowship with brothers and sisters of Christ anywhere at any time without answering to a national headquarters somewhere.
